Due to ongoing renovations at Teaneck Library, the Eco Book Club will be held at Teaneck Creek Conservancy at 20 Puffin Way in Teaneck.
In The Book of Hope, Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams engage in intimate, thought-provoking dialogue on one of the most elusive aspects of human nature: hope. Drawing on decades of work that expanded our understanding of humanity and how we can create a better world, the book addresses key questions, such as: How do we stay hopeful when things seem hopeless? How do we nurture hope in children? What is the link between hope and action? Through stories of her transformative experiences—from surviving World War II to her time in Gombe and her role in environmental justice advocacy—Jane shares how she became a messenger of hope, along with profound insights about her next, and perhaps final, adventure.
