Join Teaneck Creek Conservancy and Bergen County Audubon Society to discover the moths at the Creek. Although butterflies are nearly universally adored, it is hard to find a soul who feels the same way about moths. Most moths are active only at night, when we cannot appreciate them as much as we do the day-flying butterflies that fly about our flower gardens. However, for one night only, Teaneck Creek and BCAS want to share the marvels of moths with you. Join us on Thursday, July 27 (new date!) from 8:30pm to 10:30pm as we search for and identify these magnificent pollinators using moth bait and lights set up near a sheet.
Bring a flashlight if you have one.
