Birding for Beginners with BCAS

  • Teaneck Creek Conservancy 20 Puffin Way Teaneck, NJ, 07666 (map)

Join Bergen County Audubon Society & Teaneck Creek Conservancy to Learn the basics of how to get started birding. We’ll cover bird identification, field guides and optics. Bring binoculars if you have them.

BCAS offers two walks monthly at the Conservancy. One walk is typically on the weekend and one during the week. Birders of all levels and interests are welcome to attend. BCAS will have additional guides on hand to help newer birders identify birds. Programs with BCAS are part of the Conservancy's year round suite of free public programs. If you enjoy this program we encourage you to donate or become a member to support more programming like BCAS monthly nature and native plant walks.
