BCAS offers two walks monthly at the Conservancy. One walk is typically on the weekend and one during the week. Enthusiasts of all levels and interests are welcome to attend. BCAS will have additional guides on hand to help newer birders identify birds. Programs with BCAS are part of the Conservancy's year round suite of free public programs. Take a road trip to Cheesequake State Park for EarthShare New Jersey’s 5th annual Earth Care Day where hands-on education programs allow families to learn and experience New Jersey's air, water, land, and wildlife. There will be lots of family fun, demonstrations, wildlife stories, children's crafts, and program animals as well as a clothing drive, kid's costume parade and a scavenger hunt.

Every Day is Earth Day is a celebration full of fun for the whole family hosted by the Ridgefield Park Environmental Commission. Teaneck Creek Conservancy will have a table full of information and an earth friendly activity. There will be boat rides with the Hackensack Riverkeeper, fishing with the Hudson River Fishermen's Association, music, live animal shows, educational and informational tables, facepainting, food and activities for the children.
It’s sure to be a full day of fun all around!

Explore TCC through the seasons on a walk with George Tsapellas and participate in community science by learning how to document what you see on your phone using iNaturalist or Seek. Each month will highlight a different part of the park, focusing on specific habitats and plants.
George is an avid user of iNaturalist and has been cultivating knowledge about local plants and wildlife for many years.
